While working on the Wunderlist and To-Do I learnt the fundamentals of Frontend Android development. I built a playground app which I used to learn and showcase my work (seen below), and you can download the app here.
Below are some of the transitions I built out with the purpose of helping form connections and relationships between states on the screen. I have a good understanding of the multitude of transition frameworks available in Android, including Motion Layout, Shared Element, Window Content, and TransitionManager. Below are some examples of transitions built for the sake of learning, but designed with intent and purpose.
Animation in isolation can help create more meaningful and delightful interfaces. I've spent a lot of time working with Animated Vector Drawables and Object Animators with the purpose of adding delight and personality to the apps I'm building. Below are some examples of icons/svgs that have been created with the AVD framework, and more complex scenes build out with the Object Animator framework.
